PWA hosts several fundraising events annually and we're in the process of planning a few new events as well. Be sure to stay up to date with our calendar!

Wine from around the world –  Spain, USA, Portugal, Argentina, and New Zealand – you name it – we’ve offered fantastic wine!  Special food is paired with each wine to enhance the tasting experience.  A local band and silent auction help make the evening great.  This is a reverse raffle drawing – so you’ll want to get your “magic number” early for a chance to win $1,000!  The last number drawn wins!

This has become a tradition at PWA.  For the last 14 years, people from the community have adopted a child or two to make Christmas special.  These are children of our clients.  We’ve had as many as 71 children who just want someone – like you – to help make their Christmas special.  Our supporters love this time of year – but then, who doesn’t?

We would like to invite you to host a Dining For Friends party to raise money to support PWA!  You can host a party any time.   We will provide you with helpful hints to make your party a huge success!  We have the invitations for you or you can create your own – all you have to do is invite folks to a party!  Keep it simple or go all out!  You can have a theme or just gather your friends together for a worthy cause.  Have a meal catered, grill hamburgers/hotdogs, host a pot luck, or make it really formal – it’s your choice!

Dining For Friends raises money to continue offering services to people living with HIV disease in our community.  This is an easy way to spread our message of compassion and solidarity in the comfortable surroundings of our homes.  This opportunity for fellowship encourages communication about HIV disease as well as encouraging our supporters to show their commitment to this courageous battle to the community at large.  And finally, we can raise awareness and increase community support for people living with HIV disease.

We encourage you to contact us about this exciting opportunity to help!  We can easily be reached at 336-248-4646 or by email at
