POSITIVE WELLNESS ALLIANCE RECEIVES DONATION FROM FOOD LION FEEDS CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION
Winston-Salem, NC (July 3, 2022) - Positive Wellness Alliance has received $1,200.00 from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation to help feed neighbors in their time of need. Positive Wellness Alliance will use the gift to help feed folks in need during the Thanksgiving holiday season.
“We are so excited to be able to use this money to help those in need,” said Kristiana Moore, Food Pantry Coordinator. “With this money we can continue the tradition of the agency providing Thanksgiving food boxes. We should also be able to increase the amount of people we help this year, compared to previous years.”
The Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation is committed to supporting families facing food insecurity across its 10-state footprint. Established in 2001, the foundation provides financial support for programs and organizations dedicated to feeding local neighbors in the communities it serves. Since its inception, the foundation has awarded more than $15 million in grants.

Positive Wellness Alliance is a 501c(3) organization that helps people living with HIV/AIDS in eight counties in North Carolina. Founded in 1992, and incorporated in 1994, the organization provides case management, financial assistance, and housing assistance services as well as a community food pantry, which is open to the public.
